I have 1 male german blue ram about 2 inches, 1 kuhli loach about 2 1/2 inches,2 angelfish both are a little bigger than a 50 cent piece 1 is a veil with fins that up and down are about 3 to 4 inches the other is a common koi angelfish,2 corydoras catfish both are a little under 2 inches,3 neon tetras about 1 inch a piece,3 black neon tetras a little bigger than a inch a piece, and 2 otto's both about a inch and a half, my question is , overstocked are not????

O ya my tank is 29 gallons i run a ugf , two whisper power filter 30's and a whisper power filter 20 in the 30's i run a ammonia resin pad in one and a phosphate resin pad in the other both have a bio sponge in them , the 20 has two bio sponges and i run carbon in it every once in a while , have some real plants and some fake i would say its planted semi-heavy but not really ? I also have a large piece of driftwood...

Well, it depends on a lot of things:

1.) Filtration, amount of turnover
2.) Plants, and do you add any plant supplements or prune them
3.) Lighting, how much and for how long each day
4.) Frequency of water changes

15 small fish in a 29-gal aquarium. I like to keep less than that (my tanks are pretty understocked), but that is just me. Makes my fishkeeping tasks a lot easier.

Well, it looks like you have a good bit of water turnover with 3 filters. That's a lot of machinery for a 29-gal tank.

Yeah , its overstocked. Those angels will soon eat all of your tetras when it grows older. Get them out asap/

get out the angels or tetras?

no way i cant take out the angels there my pride and joy if anything i would take out the tetras...

i think you need at least a 55g tank for those fish, since you need to add more actually, but your tank is overstocked as is. the loach, cories, otos, and tetras are all schooling or group fish and need at least 3 for the loach cories and otos and 6 for each species of tetra.

No, the tetras should school together even thjough they don't look alike, its he other fish that need more pals. Like the loachs(?) and the cories.
