I have a few hundred pounds of it in 27 aquariums and all are fine. Just rinse well before use. LOVE the stuff.

Considering that EVERYTHING that has to do with pools has a health warning of some type, either ignore most of them (except for the acid ones, that stuff can knock you out just from standing downwind of it) or never go swimming in the giant toxic cancer-causing pond. :rofl:
As the others mentioned, dust of any kind can cause health problems (or death in extreme cases). There are plenty of historical accounts of it also. Volcanic dust can kill people (hell, it can clog aircraft engines). The American and Chinese dust bowls killed people and caused health problems for many people. It isn't anything unique to PFS.
