maybe someone can help me then.

i have problems with the faucet piece, had my python about 6 months and into my 3rd faucet piece. (about 7.00 each)

after some use the threads wear off on the plastice piece that is connected to the metal piece that goes to the faucet. any ideas?

Take off the metal part first. Put it on the pump. Then attach the pump with the metal part ot the sink. This will save you a bit. Also wrap some teflon tape around the metal part. (the thin white stuff). I have the same problem and Im on my 2ed pump.
