grand rapids MI,
About 2 months ago my girlfriend knocked over her beta bowl and put the poor fish in a Tupperware bowl.I took it home with me because i thought i had a glass bowl at home. This was not the case so the next day i bought a 1 1/2 gal aquarium. he was very happy i don't think he ever had that kind of room to swim in before.being the nub that i am i thought it would be nice to get him a girl friend. this was a bad idea .My first thought was they need a bigger tank so off i went and got a 10 gal that didn't do it ether. so i got on line and found a web site aquascapeing i couldn't believe my eyes on how beautiful and in depth this hobby could get. Well to make a long story short i found you guys.everyone was helpful and friendly now i am practically living on this web site.I spent 22.00 on a stupid rock today because i thought it was cool.I'm boiling drift wood that i collected last weekend and my 55 gal is being dropped off tonight IS THERE A CURE FOR THIS ADDICTION:help:

You should have went right for the 125 gallon tank because you will be upgrading that 55 in no time. I started out with a 1 gallon, then a 10, 29, 55 and then we got rid of all of the smaller tanks and got the 125. Now I have three smaller ones plus the 125.

There is no cure except to fill all available surfaces and areas in the house with fishtanks. Then you cannot get more. It's a proven trick--I'm still on 10 tanks until I figure out a way to put tanks on the bottom part of stands and on sturdy shelves throughout the apartment.

The bad news is if you ever get full - there is always the non stop urge to improve & re-scape your tanks.

Sorry Utterdark, the matrix has you.

Counts the tanks before I answer. I can stop anytime I want.
