The reason im asking is because i have a 55g currently with 2angels and i want to start a 10g sand bottom heavily planted with home bred guppies. So if i happened to get to many i could give a treat to another fish

are you kidding me? convicts with angels?

Do not put in convicts they will shred the angels.

A cool oddball would be a sengal bichir (if the angels are full grown). they will eat your guppies and a 55g is considered minimum tank size

Maybe he has mutated angels lol Anyway seriously, if you can find a severum big enough, he would probably eat your guppies but he would have to be big.

The angels would love guppy fry for lunch. I use an angel pair to control swordtail populations.

Yes, depending on how big your Angel is, they will gladly pick off the guppies for you so there really wouldn't be a need for another guppy eating fish.

I second the senegal bichir... only because I love mine. Such a character!! And they will eat anything that can fit in their mouths, but they won't bother anything bigger in the least. Very exotic looking fish and very personable.

I hate that I'm having to find him a new home, but he'd be happier in a tank bigger than the one I've got and I can't afford to replace mine anytime soon.
