is there a light tolerant pleco?

just curious if annyone has had a pleco that isnt allergic to daytime.
if so what type is it ?

i do see my pleco quite alot now but only after i bought a super dim light and covered the waters surface with floating plants.
the setup isnt just for my pleco but still if i ever want to set up another tank with different fish spending more money than i need to just for 1 fish is a no no.
 
I got a rubber-lip pleco who hid away at first (couple of weeks), but now he's out frequently in full lighting conditions. Maybe it just take some time.
 
my long finned blue eyed albino bristlenose were active during the day.
 
The bristlenose plecos are out and about a lot during the day.
 
I hear that bristlenoses tend to be one of the most active plecos during daytime. One of the few that are seen without using a dim light after dark, really. My L387s usually only come out in the shaded parts of my tank when I feed Ken's pellets with earthworm but stay hidden all the other times. One of them likes to have his tail out of the cave, so that's pretty much all I see of him, lol!
 
I literally never see my Bristlenose, mine didn't read the book. I've had him 18 months, too. I never see my L114 or my Medusa either. My Royals and L200 don't seem to notice whether the light's on or off. They come out either way.
 
I have BN, Albino BN, Marbled BN's and peppered BN's. Of them all the Albino's and Ordinary BN are the most visiable.

But when I throw in vege's, doesn't matter what time of day it is all the pleco's come out to feed.
 
My two gibbys don't mind the light. For the first month or so I had them, I almost never saw them. Now if they aren't in the open they are probably just behind something, not really hiding. All you have to do is drop in food and they will be front and center in literally about 10 seconds
 
ive had my BN about a month and hes usually out but i did make a really dim tank setup because my tank is mostly catfish and loaches
and my african butterflyfish realy likes all the floating plants.
