Is there any way I can reproduce my Vallisneria?

Hi everyone, I only have a few healthy vallisneria, maybe 3 or 4. They're still small and pretty short. My ultimate plan is to have them dense and tall, but I was wondering if I could propagate them somehow so I don't have to buy a bunch of plants to make it thicker.

I want to reproduce them, if it is possible. Is it? :)

Been doing some reading and I'm seeing they send out runners. Is this my best bet?

vals will propagate themselves by sending runners under the substrate to come up in a nearby location as another baby val plant. if given the right conditions, you'll have tons in no time! lol.

this lil 2.5 gallon tank started with only 6 to 8 small vals.
