I wasn't sure either which is why I posted the thread to begin with. They have grown over the last few months, and some of their features are changing slightly as they grow. They no longer hide like they used to and they seem to enjoy each other, and we enjoy watching them 8)
I guess I'll just have to wait and see what they turn into!
oh and yes, I did get the substrate at Petsmart, they no longer carry it though. I found it was the same as Caribsea's "Peace River" that some local stores sell and can be purchased online. It works and looks well like sand only without the mess!
These are definitely Syno. decorus btw. The markings on them change as they mature, so you'll see differences, depending on what size your fish are at that point. Post pictures on the board over there, if you still have your doubts . The Syno. guys there really know their stuff!
Thanks! I noticed just yesterday that there are some new markings appearing on their fins, I was thinking it was the stripes that were absent may finally be appearing. It seems like they are changing and growing everytime I take a peek at them. I spent an hour online looking at Syno images as well. Boy, are they cute, LOL!
