Today i may get a 40 gal with everything tank, oak stand, and light /filter eclipse system. Theres no heater but i can buy one. Anyway is this worth about 50 or 60 dollars? Also how well do the eclipse sytem work? Are they quiet? I have never had one.
Is this a good deal?

Sounds pretty good to me!! As long as it's all clean and works nicely with no major scratches on the tank or stand and no damage to the parts, I'd say go for it. Heck, I pay a good $30-40 just for a good filter alone!!!
If this is the all in one Hood/Light/Filter....
The blue floss pad clogs quickly, especially if you are prone to overfeeding. Before you know it, it clogs and the water just bypasses to the bio wheel. Not to noisey.

My wife has an eclipse 12 at work and loves it. The filters last a long time. She's never had a problem with them clogging quickly and if they do clog you can rinse them a number of times before replacing them if you wish.
Well, I don't really like the eclipse all in one type hoods, but just a 40g aquarium with an oak stand in good condition is worth $60.
