Is this a Yellow Lab? Bought from assorted tank

I bought this fish from a assorted tank at petsmart for $3.99. It's only about 1 inch long. The other labs at petsmart are 9.99, while petco has them for 14.99. Hard time getting good pics.

Can't quite tell, does it have black on the 2 front fins? So far it doesnt appear to be an Electric Yellow Lab. More than likely it's a hybred fish, and not a yellow lab.

It looks like it may have vertical stripes, if it does its probably a mix, not uncommon we have two of them, ..........

Bottom fins have alittle black. Fish is a bright yellow. It showed a hint of verical stipes when fish was caught and put in bag at store. Maybe it was the mood, but now mostly solid yellow.
The yellow lab tank at store was next to assorted tank. To me with my untrained eye, the other labs looked just like this one execpt this one was smaller.

Few more pics. Tell me what u think. Do labs show any diff coloration or bars with mode? Even if not a yellow lab, still a pretty fish for aquaruim at $3.99.

This is a yellow lab, {female} on the males there dorsil fin and pelvic fins will get black when excited...

Your 1 st post looks like vertical stripes, the 5 th post looks a little more solid, if it is a true lab, it should not have been in the assorted tank, it should be a solid yellow with no dark vertical stripes at all, there still a very nice fish, we just don't know what there crossed with, the 2 with stripes that we have were probably crossed with peacocks......
