Is this Aiptasia?

I knwo it's been asked a million times before but I am not sure what this is. Do I need to worry about this being Aiptasia or is it most likly not?

It's hard to tell from that pic. but it looks like it. if it's a little anemone and you dont want it.. a nice squirt of lemmon juice will take care of it

Boiling water is awsome...watch the little monsters dissolve....awsome...

Could do with a better to confirm it is aiptasia though...

It looks very similar if you could give us a pic of it fully extended that would really help. If you don't want to use boiling water, a shot of lemmon juice will do just as well. Just get a needleless hypo and stick him haha it's so sweet they just disolve and the only bi-product ,"use common sense here " is a little co2.

Maaybe. I use diabetic needles from the pharmacy section of Payless and just inject them with a small bit of lemon juice, or vinegar. I've found that unless you take the rock out to boil, it's hard to get them to completely get boiled, and the chemical route is IMO a bit easier, though be careful - it will change pH.

I had aiptasia on my live rock. I went to my LFS and got Joes Juice. Works great.

I had the little devils all over my tank (75ga.) until I got my copperband butterfly. He is an awesome fish to look at and keeps me free of the ap's.

thats an aptasia for sure i know them well working in a fish store lol. chems are the easiest and unless u do it right the other ways dont kill them completely. but thy work very well if you do it right.
