The tank that im cycling is aclyric and when i look at it from the side i can see the aclyric front part bend outwards a bit. almost like a small bowfront.
Is that normal? or is it Bad?

Well its not bad if its a bow front.... ;) I can't say that I've noticed any aquariums doing that in the past. Maybe someone smarter than me will chime in. Does it seem like the walls are thin (and flimsy)?

How big is the tank and how much does it bow ?
Does it have a center brace ?

Try a search - this topic came up a few times over the past months and it seems that (within limits) its normal that some tanks bow a little.
Again - i think it depends a lot on how much.

did you get it new? acrylics do this, glass do as well, but they are harder to notice it on since they dont bow near as much as acrylic. how long is the tank? height?

its hard to tell without seeing it in person. acrylics bow, plain and simple. does it have a center brace? most likely it is normal from how slightly you are saying it is bowing.

I have an old acrylic tank as well. I have described it as a balloon with square corners. All the braceing is intact and the seams are fine, so I'm not worried about it holding water. It does mean it isn't my choice of a tank to make a nice liveing room display with, it just isn't as nice looking due to the scratches and bowing.

But I'm not worried about it holding water.
