hi

ive seen loads of pic of people holding plecos. isnt this crule? do the fish like it?

It's just as cruel as using a net, less in the case of plecos, becuase they can get stuck in nets.

taking fish out of water in general is cruel, but sometimes we just gotta do it.

I have moved my plecos by hand before, never thought about it being cruel. I started doing it after my royal got completely stuck in a net and it took my a long time to get him out. I figure it's better to move them quickly than hurt them by being stuck in a net.
