Is this ich?

i failed to notice because everything was zero which means cycled ... I think i started a mini cycle on accident. he's eating now and active and I got rid of the ammonia spike.

everything being 0 DOES NOT mean cycled.
ammonia and nitrAte should be 0 nitrite should be a whole number, I don't know the exact one though. I want to say >5ppm but don't quote me on that

Actually nitrAte should be a number and nitrIte should be zero..Here is an AC thread all about it if you would like to read up. http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84598

and this is a direct quote from it: "A cycle is never really complete. It is established and an ongoing evolution. Keeping this “cycle” balanced and continuous is the goal of properly maintaining a tank for a healthy environment for your fish. Strive for Zero Ammonia, Zero Nitrite, and approximately 20 ppm Nitrate or less."

thanks
I knew what it was in my head but it got mixed up from my brain to my fingers :nilly:

actually nitrate stays around 5-10 ppm and everything else zero .. I meant everything toxic was zero
