On a previous thread awhile back i had pics of 3 young fish that people thought on this forum in general believed it to be mostly kenyi, or a mix.
Here is an updated pic along with the with an older pic of mother fish . To me these young fish seemed to be mixed. Sometimes these 3 fish become solid in color. The larger one often i notice can be solid blue or almost a light purple. Just thought i could ger updated opinions. Thanks.

Heres are pics of tank the mother fish came from, Shown on an older thread. These are tanks from my friends house. Pics may be up to a year or so old. My friend circled around a fish shownen me what he thought was the mom fish at the time. Not sure thou.

There's probably no way of knowing "who's the daddy".

To take it even a step further, unless the spawning was witnessed (which I'm presuming didn't happen), then any male mbuna in the tank could be a theoretically be the father, not just the cobalt blue zebra or blue zebra (which I'm guessing is a reference to the wild type metriaclima estherae).

Hybrid offspring physical appearance may be completely random and, not only that, they'll possibly look completely different as they mature.

I think you mentioned in another thread, but minus the kenyi, are those all the fish that died?

Yea, they all did. My friend had water issues from the city. He came home from vacation and they were all dead.
So, they may have some cobalt blue or blue zebra?

No way to really know.

Like I said, any male mbuna in the tank could have sired the fry, including the non-blue ones.

I personally wouldn't retain any of those fry.

i sems to b a hybrid and btw i want to knoww what tank size that is it looks huge im just curius nice fish in there

As long as they're not released to the hobby as "pure", I don't see much of a problem with retaining the fry.

Nice tank by the way..........:)
