I've noticed a lot of people round here walking round with tiny bags containing goldfish so I just walked by York Easter Fair and they have goldfish as prizes on all the stalls.

Poor fishes! They are also selling tanks for them that are no bigger than a butty box.

Is this legal?

I thought this had been banned years ago. It certainly should be!

Our county fair gives away live goldfish and lizards as carnival prizes. I absolutely HATE IT! Live animals should never be given away as prizes. I wish it was illegal!

well until fish and reptiles earn rights like mammals it wont stop. it sucks how we talk about animal rights but its really only for mammals.
