Hi there! ❤️

Pretty annoying of me I guess... But I found this pretty mesh and I thought about getting it and make it as a lid for my 125L tank. But my only concern is if it is made out of steel or something else that is solid.
I’m thinking about getting possibly coolies so I need to know if the holes in the mesh are small enough for kuhli not to climb out?

It doesn't mention what the netting is made of or the hole size but it's probably some type of plastic material.

No Dee is right this is a synthetic material, just a piece of window/fly screen. In the description he talks about netting as well.

Do you have any type of lid now? What size is the tank?

I've always been partial to Versa-Tops. They reduce evaporation and are tight enough to keep fish from getting out. There can be a gap between the back plastic piece and the tank frame, so if you're worried about the fit and gaps around the back plastic edge and the space that you cut around the filter, use a bit of nylon screen door mesh, and cut it to size. It's reasonably priced, inert, easy to cut and can be easily shaped to form a tight seal around filter intakes and such, especially when used with some silicon to keep it in place.

Nylon screen door mesh is also handy for all kinds of purposes in setting up aquariums, vivariums, ripariums and paludariums, from setting up a boundary between the drainage layer and the substrate in a vivarium to customizing the size of the ventilation opening. I've used it for homemade tumblers for hatching African mouthbrooder eggs, over the intake of power filters as a barrier to keep free-swimming fry from getting sucked in if they get careless when near, and over egg crate divider in tanks to separate a small species from a larger species in the same fry grow-out tank. This essentially gives me two fry tanks in one. It used to be used in saltwater aquariums for dividing layers of substrate when creating plenums, as well as creating a divider between media when customizing wet-dry filters (it may or may not be used in the saltwater hobby today; I haven't kept a saltwater tank in years so I haven't a clue). I've used it for a lot of other things over the years; I probably don't even remember them all. But, I'm never without a roll.

Sprinkle Sprinkle , is this a rectangular tank or some other shape? Do you know if they make a glass lid or canopy for this particular brand of tank?
