is this tiger shrimp?

im looking for some information about tiger shrimps

do tiger shrimp have big eyes?
do tiger shrimp hunt and eat fish?
do they grow up to 3+ inches?
can they live in cold water? (live outside in winter weather!?)
do tiger shrimp came from asia?

if so, i think i raised them 10 yrs ago

when i was a kid, there was a lake near my house, i cought these shrimps
and raised them - are they same shrimps? lol

I'd take a guess at "Ghost Shrimp" or "Grass Shrimp" personally, but hopefully one of the invert specialists that can actually see any difference in those things can say for sure. :rofl:

I pull a bunch of similar looking shrimp out of freshwater and saltwater canals around here. The saltwater ones tend to have more of a red coloring to them, but otherwise look exactly like that.

No, not tiger shrimps. Tigers have a fatter body and the head and kegs/arms on that shrimp looks different. Kind of looks like ghost shrimps, but with stripes.

yes those shrimps are as much as ghost shrimp in that country
