ITouch mail not working

My Father gave me his Itouch as he just bought the Iphone. We both use the same email account but with different addresses. What I mean is that they are made by the same place, but are differnet i.e. he has his e-mail address and I have mine.
He can use his e-mail to send and recieve messages, but I can't send them. I recieve them fine, but cannot reply to them.
We compared our incoming server and outgoing server and all the settings, and they all match. He had the same problem when setting an accout up for an employee, and he had the same trouble as I do.

You can put up to an 8GB SD card in my Blackberry. You can put all kinds of music on that.

Yes but it isn't an iPod is it? iPod is the best music player AND you can't sync a blackberry with iTunes

That's why I've had a 60 GB iPod for 3 years, lol. None of the smartphones could possibly give me enough storage capacity for my music collection. I was just saying it can be done.

Here's a stupid question, but the only thing I can come up with... Are you sure you are within range of a wireless network when you are trying to send and receive emails? The iPhone would work in more locations since it would work with WiFi and cell signals, I believe.

Man I had a horrible time trying to set up the internet for my itouch with my WiFi. Don't know why as my laptop had no problem. Totally got geek squad help. I love geek squad :hearts:

nope I'm using the Internet on my iPhone to write this. I am in range because othewise my Internet wouldn't work either and I am using it to write this so...
