Its snowing!!

I love the first snow of the winter and the last snow and I really like it if they come on the same day! I love a change of seasons but I really don't like a long winter. I've got about 6 months with bare trees and that's a bit too much for me. I need more green. I'm in the Wash. DC region.
 
I hate snow. Sucks to walk to class in. Dangerous to drive in. Wet, looks pretty for about 2 secs before disgustingly dirty-looking when driven over. Wastes energy and drives up the bills trying to keep warm. Pollutes with all the salt you have to throw down. Seriously, I see no positives.
 
28 here this morning with windchills @20.I don't want to see any snow around these parts for a couple of weeks,at least. It insulates the ice to much and stops it from growing. Once theres a good 6" of ice and I can start walking out for ice fishing, let it snow.Untilthen then I hope it stays away.Hard water fishing is great(with the right gear).:thm::thm:
 
Snow ??

Been snowing lightly since Sunday , had about 1 inch staying around.Temps have not been over 30 since Sat.
Wonder what is in store for s this winter.:confused:

The high here is going to be 48 today, and that seems unbearably freezing to me.
Heat's not working right in my house, so my aquarium heaters aren't able to keep up. :( (didn't drop all that much, but still enough to make me worry).
 
Heh it was 21 degrees when I left for work this morning, 9 degrees with the wind chill. Here comes winter...I'm good with snow as long as I get a chance to go snowboarding a few times this year.
