Or just use the rubber dishwashing gloves, and duct-tape the cuff so no water can get in.

Be careful of this as many of them are lined with powder.

I got a cut like that on my hand wet once.. Huge infection still have a scar from it. Yeah keep it dry..

Why would you need l o n g gloves for just water changes?

I typically swish the top of the CC and sand a little while changing water. The tank is about 20" deep. I guess I could do a basic water change just sticking in the tube.

Well if that is all you do, go by a toilet scrubber or something with a plastic handle, tape it to the tubing and make yourself a long handle. You won't even have to touch the water then.

i wouldnt dare to risk using your hands after 2 weeks or more. theres a reason theres stitches i couldnt move my thumb (4 stitches) for a month.

sorry to hear about your hand! i would just avoid putting it in the tank altogether. use your other hand if you absolutely have to get in the tank

most feed stores carry "cattlemens gloves" for pregnancy checking cattle the go from ur pit down

check out aqua gloves. thatpetplace.com has them. theyre pretty cheap. i had a pair and they were long enough to stick my whole arm in the tank, almost up to my shoulder. imo a good buy!

I know LOL. Just try brushing your hair or teeth with your opposite hand. There's just no coordination.
