I take a pinch of fry food and release it under the water surface so it sinks easier.

Thanks everyone. Now I'm wondering how the heck you know if these little guys are eating!

Don't worry, they will come to the surface to eat and you will see them do that. Also, they will eat food that sinks with the filter's water movement.

After stripping my Yellow Labs i just give them shrimp pellets,and crushed flake foods,i have about 27 babies now from the last batch that are new borns, they need homes.....

Efors, since my last post, I really watched them close and I have seen them go to the surface or pluck it from mid-water. I'm giving them crushed up NLS flake w/garlic that I feed my community tank.

Great, Dr! :thm: Around 2 weeks from now, you may try to give them also finely crushed cichlid pellets.
