What can be done about these worms I have in my tanks? The majority of the ones I see are at the top of the aquarium between the top of the tank and the water line. They are about 2-3 cm in length there and very small in diameter. I usually scrape them off and the fish seem to love to eat them. If i cut them in half they seem to divide into 2 living worms.. If i stir up the substrate there can usually be a few found swimming around as well.

they are not harmful to your fish if they ar ejust planaria, but they are usually a sign taht you need to do water changes a bit more often and maybe feed your fish a little bit less.

Its more of a cosmetic issue. Ah I didnt mention it but they swim in a 'S' fashion.

yes it sounds like the same worm, but my tanks both have fish and worms as well :)
I never see them swimming around unless I stir them up, and then the fish usually figure out to follow the scraper for some yummy worms apparently.
