A 15-inch-long sole has been discovered in an aquarium after remaining undetected for 15 years.

Word is it was a stowaway when the aquarium was set up.

(My loach record is almost a year. I though he had died and his remains been "disposed of" by his tankmates overnight, but suddenly there he was.)

That is a very long time to go unnoticed. There are large predatory flat worms that pop up in hobbiets' tanks after years as well. A testament to natural comouflage! Thanks for sharing.

I have a strawberry crab that I occasionally see 3-4 times a year, but nothing like this.

wow... I've lost fish before, and some of them I didn't find until I Upgraded my tanks, but man... 15 years. But it is a big tank. Cool.
