Looking forward to seeing your tank come together. That stand scares me too but it sounds like your guy knows what he's doing.

***Minor Update***
- Back of the tank has been spray painted Royal Blue (had some issues with getting an even coating/couple of bubbles, but after attaching a black thick plastic backing (to protect against the paint scratching, etc) his should not be a problem
- Stand is currently being stained
- Additional 20 CUC (crabs & snails) & 10kgs of live rock got delivered today (all now packed into the live rock tank)
So all things are looking good for the big move on Saturday!

So the tank set up went well today (apart from some priming/water spurting issues with the filters :mad2

1 - the old tank (live rock only storage tank for the last month) being drained & the new tank in its place
2 - aquascaping the rock shelves
3 - the new tank set up (water's still a bit cloudy as it was just filled up)

not 100% sure for the full stocking list, but so far the plan is to house a few gobies, a school (4-5) blue green chromis & a scribbled angel

Beautiful set up! I really like the stand.If it wouldn't have to be shipped halfway around the world I'd get one myself!

a day later, the tank has cleared up well - still a few particles, etc floating round, but that should disappear soon enough.
