I hand picked most of the pieces from my LFS on the day they get their shipment in. I did try to purchase some 'premium rock' online once, but found that a lot of it was either smaller bits that can't be used to build structures or pieces with little (if any) algae or hitchhikers

Hey everybody, it’s been quite a while since I last updated this thread & have had many adventures (and misadventures!) as the tank matures…
I lost a few members on the tank due to an ich outbreak & major heat wave (earlier this year).. but over the last six months things have settled down & been going extremely well - so much so that I decided to get some new additions to the community…
I’ll get some decent shots up soon, but here’s just a few quick happy-snaps showing some of the new members of the tank….

over the last couple nights the big red hermit has started to do some 'home renvations' by moving quite large sized lumps of rock from one side of the tank to the other.. its like having my own personal interior designer!

The tank looks stunning. You've got to love those Harlequin Tusks, now one of my favourite fish in my tank
