jabberjaw's 150gallon - from the get go

so I lost a blue/green chromis over night.... everyone was accounted for at lights-out last nite, but today there was only 5 of them..... Even tho they all retreat into the rocks to sleep & I've got no hard evidence to back up my suspicions, I'm laying the blame squarely with my overly greedy huge red hermit.....

Great looking tank! Missed this one since I joined. Sorry to hear about your Chromis. Keep up the good work.

BoCoMo - That's a Harlequin Tusk and a beautiful one at that!

Not sure how I missed the newer pics. Looks awesome! You can see the work you've put into it and it is definitely paying off.

This is a really great tank. It definitely increase my curiosity of sw tanks. I only have a fw now, and I'm considering getting into sw. Sooo expensive though, but I'm sure it's worth it.

thanks for all the nice words everybody!

bit of an update:
- everyone in the tank is happy & accounted for
- my dog-face puffer is an absolute pig and is getting bigger every day!
- have had a few unexpected new tank mates due to an emergency re-housing offer from a lfs customer...
1x black & white clown (pure black & white with not a hint of orange!)
1x Mandarin dragonette (feeding very well & happy cruising all over the tank)
1x large clam... which is sadly now 1 large empty clam shell thanks to my big red hermit crab...

The fish are doing well, tho there was a lot of real nasty fighing between the clarkii clowns & the new b&w clown... but luckily they have each found separate sides of the tank, and there is almost no bickering between them now....
Speaking of the clarkii's, I purchased a large anenome about a week ago, and within hours of it entering the tank, the clarkii's were hosting it. They also sleep in it and even take large chunks of food back to it at feeding time (which is very interesting to watch)

It's not all good news tho, as there's a major fault in my MH lighting rig and they currently won't turn on - so no new photo's with this update, but will get some up as soon as it's fixed :)
