my mistake
whew... I have been lookin for a female EBJD, but now I may not be anyways... The more I read, the more I am convincing myself it's HITH-HLLE and I can't see how... My nitrates tops get to 20ppm, I don't use carbon, and I feed him 2 different kinds of pellet and varius frozen food. The only thing could be stress... Lately he has been just freaking out and smacking the lid, hitting ornaments and then hiding in his log all day. He has only been comming out when I A: am gone. B: turn out the lights and wait till he thinks I'm gone. C: take the only hiding spot he still fits in.
It's just weird how he has been acting... Also my fiance is the only one who he eats for and she say's he hasn't eaten in 5 days.

Just to give anyone who cares an update.. Our Jack Dempsey is 100% better. All of the big bumps, pits, and redness has all gone away. He is back to his old self and there is no scaring either!
