i have a jade bonsai at work that is not doing too hot( losing leaves, wrinkly leaves)

im pretty sure at the moment it is being over watered which is the first problem i will take care of, secondly the tree is about six feet from a south facing window with an awning next to it so realisticly its getting a couple hours of light a day.

if solving the over watering doesnt help it much im going to take it home and light it. the tree is about 16 inches wide and maybe 6 inches deep and maybe a foot tall, i have a 28 watt t5 thats two feet long and could supplement with another 23 watts cfl. the cfl is going to be warm white, and for the t5s i have 10k and 2.7k bulbs. would this lighting be sufficient to nurse it back to health and what color combinations would you use?

i was thinking to use one 10k and one 2.7k just to get a little more of the blue spectrum

I have a small jade plant in my one leopard gecko tank. I only water it after the soil in the pot it's in has dried for a few days. So I guess it gets watered about twice a week. It also get about 12 hours of light from a T5 bulb that is made for plants. Hope this helps. :)

whew that sounds like a lot of water actually, unless that area is like a try part of the tank, i thought i should only water every few weeks

The jade plant is on the warm end of the tank near a ceramic heat emitter so it dries out pretty fast. That's why I have to water it at least twice a week.
