I have a jag, dovii, flowerhorn, polleni, xingu pike, and red devil in a 190 gallon. I did also had a jack dempsey, but the pike killed him. The Jag is growing like a rocket. I make sure all the fish get plenty of food. I was just wondering if it is normal for Jags to grow super fast. This fish has doubled in size in like 3 weeks.

when I first bought my jag (since departed to fishy heaven) he grew 2 inches in 1 month! If fed right he will grow fast, but like fish freak said that pike will one day rule your tank.

the dovii is going to unleash hell on all the other fish once he's full grown in the same tank with them..

yeah, that wolf cichlid (dovii) is gonna make a snack out of everything else in that tank. Then it will probably make a snack of the glass wall of the tank.

thanks, here is the current tank ruling order

1) JAG
2) RED DEVIL
3) XINGU PIKE
4) DOVII
5) POLLENI
6) FLOWER HORN

Actually, I don't know how much longer the flower horn and the Polleni will last as they are both pretty beat up. They both eat a lot, but their fins are pretty shredded. The RED DEVIL tries to beat up the DOVII all day but he can never catch him. The pike is way to fast for anyone to catch. The JAG does not really chase anyone too much, but the other fish are all scared of him.

They all range from 2 to 3 inches.
the order of size is JAG, pike, dovii, polleni, red devil then flower horn.

Dude you have to separate those fish. The only thing you're missing is a Red Tail Cat.

The Dovii has to live all alone or with dithers. The Xingu and the Dovii are a rough mix. The Pike is such a hunter and so fast, but that Dovii is a BEAST.

The Jag, Polleni and the Flowerhorn can be good together depending on their individual temperaments but I can see polleni pieces in your filter intake right now. That's a beautiful fish and everything else in that tank can and will eat it.
