Jaguar Vs. Jack Dempsey.

After Alot of moving around, I finally placed my Jaguar and Jack Dempsey together in my 80 Gallon...went to take a shower and when I seen them again, they were fighting. I was so busy watching them, they almost made me late for work. It looks like the Jack Dempsey now has complete run of the tank. I did videotape a small portion of the fight.....

I agree, i'd rehome the jag as a 80g tank isn't big enough for it

Maybe 16" in captivity, 24" in the wild.

80g would be ok for a Jaguar. I would also move one of them.

80s large enough, the issue is one of them killing the other..I would put in a few Tinfoil Barbs as a distraction..

That won't last long. The Jag will get bigger and most likely kill that JD.

Due to lack of a bigger tank, I ended up putting the Jack in a 30 Gal by himself. Over night, the Jack turned into a super aggressive fish. I've had him for just about a year, and he's been ultra nasty the past few months.
