japanese rush plant(Acorus pussilus)

we are close the whole week because of renovation, but when we open, we gonna have a large selection of aquatic plants and some rare stuff.

What are all these APC people doing here? :) It is a plant that grows more ideally with the leaves out of the water, more of a terrarium plant. However, many people use these types of plants as "temporary" aquatic plants. It will not immediately fall apart or disintergrate, or pollute your tank and kill all your fish. It may last several months, but it will most likely never grow an inch. So if you like it, don't worry about it. Keep it until it starts to get icky!

But, if you want to keep plants that you can learn how to care for and really watch them grow, then there are many better alternatives. If you like the looks of Acorus, Cypress helferi looks very simular, but will grow like crazy!

Here is a picture:

lol, im working on an LFS, so not all LFS are like that.

the plant you have now is not an aquatic plant, but you can try it if you want but like fresh newby told you it will ruin you water once its rotten.
Of course it will ruin my water when its rotten but I will def. remove them long before they ruin my water and Acorus can normally survive for 12 months totally submerged and only then will begin to die if not exposed to air for some time. I will be moving in about 6months and if I remove them when I'm moving and keep them out for a couple of weeks them I have a 12 more months of them in my tank.

AquaBotanica.com I've ordered from there before.
I do love to watch plants grow but I really like these and I do like plants that stay small. So If it never grows an inch thats fine with me.
