Japanese Rush

There is a lot of nice looking Japanese Rush at the LFS.

A few sites say it's not a true aquatic plant, others mention nothing of this and some say it needs to be halfway out of the water to thrive.

I really like the looks of it and would like to plant it heavily behind some driftwood & anubias.

It is not a true aquatic. It will not survive long fully immersed.
