Help! Some of you may remember a little while back my excitement of my Trapdoor giving birth to several young. Now it has become a problem. She has had a least 36 that I know of in the last 8 months and no end in sight. Anyone know how many sh can have? I have given away already the older ones to prevent her from becoming impregnated further, but it has not stopped her birthing prowess! What can you suggest?

I'd sell the babies if anybody here wants them. I have not figured out yet the max number as my own trapdoor snails keep reproducing in the pond. As it is a pond, it would be easy for me to miss the actual count.

I would be more than happy to give a home to a few of them in my ponds :D

Does anyone know how many they can have? I know the female will store sperm, but she's gotta run out of her 'supply' sometime!

I wish I had a pond to put them in. My tanks are too warm for them... :(

do you think loaches will eat the babies? if so i will take a couple to breed for loach snacks, and entertainment as i love snails. (:
