Hey all,
I have some java moss which I love, and it's growing fine. The problem I have is it's getting infested by alge. What's the best way to get rid of it. It had a little when I bought it, now it's going nuts. I was thinking of putting it in my other tank with alge eaters but I affraid they would also eat the moss. Any help would be great.

Thanks, Todd:)

I have some java moss in my 29G w/ Ottos and SAEs and it's doing fine. It got fairly well infested by green algae for awhile, but that cleared up w/ frequent water changes. My fish leave the moss alone (Well... I've seen the SAE's nip at it once or twice, but they've never shown any prolonged interest), so I'd guess that your moss should be fine with any algae eaters you've got.

Hey Locust,
Thanks, I went out and got some otto's and they're doing the job. I also added some of the moss to another tank that has SAE's and they're doing a good job also.
