Java Moss, WHY DO YOU TOY WITH ME!!!!

Question. I have java moss, too much it seems now. What I want to know is can this stuff go in regular mail? Say, putting it in a ziplock bag then into an envelope and mailing it like that. I don't really have the time, nor the car, to go to the post office. If so, does anyone want some? Any tips for getting it there alive? I'm probably over simplifying things, though. If this method is possible, I could send some to you Trashman Todd.

The last batch I had arrived in great condition. He had flattened it out, wrapped it in drenched paper towel, and sealed it in a ziploc bag then priority mailed it to me in a bubble envelope. Made it out to MN from NY with no problems, paper towel was still quite moist. I imagine if it worked fine for me it would work fine for anybody.

it ships very well.....you can plunk it in a ziplock with only the water it has on the fronds, and ship it...it is very hearty to ship.

I just tossed two big handfuls of the stuff..it grows like crazy in all my tanks..it doesn't need a lot of light but I find that it grows well with good circulation..it feeds from the water column.

I trim java moss almost weekly in my tanks

I have it attached to driftwood( it's climbing on some of the wood..looks really cool) I also attach it to plastic mesh to create a carpet look. I also take clumps of it and attach it to rocks.
it did take a bit for the moss to establish but once it did..man what a mess..

people really pay for the stuff??

I bought a handful from a LFS and the stuff sat there for 3 months completely brown, growing every so slowly. This was during the summer and the tank was around 84F. Once temps dropped to 78F the stuff has taken off and I have already sold a few bunches of it!

yes quad, it loves cooler water as does most mosses.
