ghost shrimp for my tank was a $20 meal. Within an hour of putting them in my tank every last one was gone...it was like a freeding frenzy.

:eek3: $20??? Where in the world do you get your ghost shrimp??? I can get them at WM for $.26/ea! I hope you got a lot for that price.

Now amano shrimp are the true algae eaters of the shrimp world. I doubt they would hurt your fry. If you feed flake they will clean up what the fry don't eat, and you can always feed them algae tabs if you feel they are not getting enough food. Just make sure to provide a good hiding spot(s) for when they molt.

I got them at my local place for $.50 each. they had 40 in the tank so I got all of em...they lasted about 45 minutes..lol
