I'm using this fert at the moment and they seem to be working. Anyone else use it, any problems I should be aware of etc. I have heard that if you disturb them they burst and release a cloud into the tank. I've never used liquid ferts (not a fan of just pooring things into my tanks), are they really that good.

I am using them on a crypt wendtii, amazon sword and an anubias barteri var. angustifolia at the moment. The crypt puts out about 5 new leaves every 2 weeks, amazon sword about 3 and the anubias 2 every month. Is this a good growth rate?

Very nice growth rates. Sounds like you are on the right track and will be able to answer your own question, 'are they really that good?' over time.

BTW, I've been dumping dry ferts into my tanks for years with no issues whatsoever. The fish ignore them and they dissolve in seconds. It's worked for me.:)

Lots of people have. I agree with Len that those are good growth rates...seems to be working fine

Okay thanks.
I'm doing something right yay. Usually every 'normal' plant I touch turns brown within minutes LOL. I'll have to consider getting some other ferts if I get more plants.
