The black spots dissapeared now. Those fish are wierd and so cool. When they change colors like that you never know what they will look like from day to day. I have three in a 55 right now, should i get one more incase two pair off and pick on the odd fish out?

My suggestion: see how it goes with them. I have 8 in a 125g, and there is definitely one pair that's a romantic couple, but they generally don't pick on anybody. However, they periodically make a nest by digging out a huge indentation in the gravel (I guess they don't know they're sterile) and they defend the area when anybody gets close. However, their defense consists of "lip-fighting" and nobody seems to take each other too seriously.

I agree with the pro-parrot comments already posted. Mine are a hoot!
