Jewel cichlid

it's very hard to sex 'jewel' cichlids if you don't have two or several of them to compare to each other. unless spawning, these cichlids are not particularly dimorphic. if you want a guess, which is all anyone can do for you, i'll say female ... but don't take that to the bank.
Thanks, don't have any experience with them and a friend wanted to know the sex because he plans on getting 4-5 more for his 75. Any recommendations for having multiple jewels?
actually, that's the best way to keep them. there'll be some bluff fighting, but the pressure will result in a pair formation and spawning.
