The wife wandered through the LFS and saw some "pretty red fish" since she shows little interest in my fish, but allows the mayhem, I decided to get them for her. They were Jewels so i bought 3 of them and introduced them to my 44 pentagon. They immediatly started kickin the fins off some left over mollies I used to help cycle the new tank. Had to move everyone else out so now have a Jewel tank, then the third wheel started to get abused so i moved her out. After an algee outbreak i started to remove rocks in an attempt to clear up that problem and doing some big water changes. I noticed stuff on the back wall??? EGGS, bunches of them. 2 days later they were gone, thought they had eaten them but no they are on the sand in the corner, and wiggling. 3 days later they are free swimming and everywhere. Like John & Kate plus 508.

They are awesome parents, taking turns fanning the brood. I saw them going around the edge of the herd and eating the stragglers, no, she brought them back to the group and spit them back out!!!
Will they need to be seperated eventually??
