Looked at the add, looks great and sound great. I certainly know the stuff works great cause I use it. The problem is I just don't use all that much. Im still nursing 70% of 1 big bag I bought at wallmart early this year and I still have a huge bad of Buffalo Snow I have also been using that never hurt my fish I bought last January at Walmart's after Christmas sale for $1 a big bag. Not as uniform or thick as as quilt batting but Polyester quilting just the same.

I think Im going to try and grab more buffalo snow this year. Great buy though Rodincali, even without the promo code shipping is only $5 and the 1/2 off sale is good. I still might buy the $5 109X90 stuff for $20 shipped. I just hate to think I might never use it all up lol. The reason why it last me so long is becasue it is so fine a polishing media that if you use too much it just clogs. I split the quilting in half down the middle so it can collect dirt rather then stop it and clog dirt. And one small layer on a filter properly placed last months for me until it turns black and heavy like a mud layer. So a bag for me is doubled sized anyway since I split it down the middle.

lILLYAN JUST GO TO JOANN.COM and in the search box type quilt batting there is several brands and sizes, thickness to choose from just make sure its not flame proof. I bought the mountain mist brand i called before ordering online and was told it is NOT flame proof so it has no added chemicals.

Well I cant believe I ordered this much batting for the $35 free shipping and it was past the cut-off time but apparently the sale has beeen extended until Sunday night, why does that make sense? Anyway the promo code did not work for me so I had to use promo code AA347 for free shipping however I still had to pay a special $3 tax (go figure).

So now Im the owner of 7 bags of hypoallergenic 96x108 inch polyester quilt battings or a total of 72,576 square inches or 6048 square feet of quilt. I suppose I could always use it to insulate my attic. Oh I had to buy a $0.22 paint brush to make the $35 free shipping cut-off lol.
OK Rod we are now even over the $45 FX5 find ...:joke:

Well I noticed after a few days that my account had not been accessed and I received no confirmation on the order. So I called to verify and it turns out it was never picked up by there system probably becasue it was so late at night, not their fault Im sure. So since there was no need to cancel an order that did not exist I just decided not to place it. Sort of a blessing for me really because when I was at Walmart 2 days ago I decided to stop by the craft section which I had not been to in some time as Poly-quilt last so long. They still sell the king size bags for less then $13 which is even larger then the last bag I bout almost 2 years ago for $7 . Even though I use the stuff in my FX5's It only needs changing it every 6-8 months, so I think Ill stock with room to store one bag at a time and spend a few more dollars, then have an attic full of flammable Poly quilt and end up dieing before I use it all. Still a great buy though for those that change there filter every week, oh and the sale is still on now creeped ahead to Dec 9th.

Well looks like I spoke too soon. Even though I called Joann and they confirmed there was no record of an order on 29 Nov, today UPS dropped off a relatively small box of Poly batting quilt and a CFS500 filter. The filter I expected which also had the surprise of changing smooth hoses to corrugated :wall: ,but that is a story for a different thread. Back to the Poly batting, when I opened the box there were 7 long skinny sausages of Queen size batting. Each original bag had been extreme over-packed into skinny long tube bags and when I opened one end it popped open like a tube of refrigerated dinner role bread dough. Oh and they billed my account yesterday, 7 days after I ordered. Oh well, If I keep them in those sausage link bags I guess they wont take up much storage after all. Just hope I live long enough to use 6000 square feet of batting and since I split my batting down the middle, it means I have 12000 square feet before its used up :jaw-dropping:.
