Well I am going ito a job iterview for a position as an 8th grade science teacher. This hopfully will be my first full time teaching posts (I've been a sub and an after school teacher). Any interview tips?

Have you been to the school? If not, visit the school before the interview. This gives you a chance to see what's on the walls, meet the secretaries, etc.

Other than that--be confident. Smile! Dressing appropriately for a job interview, and being confident will go a long way.

Be clear and consise. If you get through and are asked to take a small class. dont be suprised if they ask a student to play up. Be ready for it even if it doesnt happen.

Be interesting and do not go on for too long when they ask you a question. :)

Best of luck, from one science teacher to another ;)

All good advice. Let us know how it goes!
