Jobs?

You're lucky. I started at 6.75 and had to pester my boss for a raise. Luckily, my boss is pretty sick and I got a fairly nice "graduation" raise for college.

Heh, up untill december, I was kitchen manager for a strip club. These days, I'm vegging out playing grill cook for a country club, and looking for some real work.

They sell food at strip clubs? Just kidding some of the Charlotte clubs are known for the food as much as the girls.

Heh the fringe benefits would have kept me there lol

I import and wholesale fishing flies for trout and bass. Working from home I get to commune with my fishies alot. However, I also have to deal with some strange customers - interesting.

I hate dealing with the customers at my kitchen(hence why I am still washing pots/prep cooking). I don't see how you can, especially since you must get some pretty dumb/rude people in.

Not too bad - I simply play up my accent and drop my voice an octave - they eat out of my hand. lol

I run a salmon and steelhead hatchery in Washington State.

I teach 7th grade Language Arts (reading/writing) in the Bay Area, Mountain View, California specifically. The pay is pretty good (though I'll never own a home) and you can't beat hanging out all day with kids and getting them to love literature they way you do. The summers/random weeks off are also pretty good! :) ~brandy
