I'll take all the advice I can get! The candelabra gorgonia likes high flow and moderate to high light (so I've read - correct me if you heard different) but the other gorgonia ( looks more like a sea fan) prefers a little more shade as do the tree sponges so they are in the shadiest spot I could find. My lights are T5 HOs...two actinic, two regular. Now that I put in my pseudo-in-tank-fuge, I'm hoping it will create even more shade for the sponges.
BTW, you are one of the first people to know (or tell) anything about gorgs and sponges...what else do you know? Share, share!
Your tank is looking great....I been busy for a month or so and just caught up with the last couple of pages. Congrats on the fish! I'm dying to get some more livestock in my tank, but I'm in and out of town for the next month or so, so I'm going to hold off for a while.

Okay, now that I know I can still figure out how to add pictures...some text for ya. The tank has been doing well since the beginning with no major catastrophes yet - thank goodness, fingers crossed.
I've had some really lucky bulk coral purchases - several from my LFS who offers really good coral prices, one from a friend who was getting rid of lots of frags and one from a reefer on a forum. As excited as I was about my lights when I bought them, I'm only "okay" with them now. There is a faulty connection so that sometimes the blues go off for now reason or if I touch the canopy wrong and then I have to wriggle them around. Annoying! They don't "sparkle" in the tank the way I wished for but I guess that's my own fault for not getting MHs. Anyway...on to more pics.
Here are some zoa pics...I don't have many and quite honestly they are not growing as fast as I expected. Any ideas about why are really appreciated:

I just got this Aussie Acan for 20 bucks...I'm new to Aussies but I'm told it was a good deal...it's got about 10 "heads" on it. What do you think?

My very favorite piece right now is my yellow sunburst that I got for 30$ from a friend.
He eats brine or mysis shrimp about 2-3 times a week in a protected container (he eats so slow that everyone will steal his food otherwise. Here he is eating:
And another because I just love him. He's growing so many new heads that I"m thinking of mounting him onto another rock for "overgrowth". He sits on the sand bed and I hear that if the heads touch sand too much they stop growing. Maybe I can "make" a frag by putting another rock under him?

This guy (help with ID please...think it is a hammer coral) I got for 10 bucks when he was sick. A friend's tank crashed and the little guy needed a home. Now look at him! He also has two baby heads growing in the back.

Getting another tank
Well - just a quick update. I'm moving to a bigger office which means that now I get to have an office tank too! I'm getting the JBJ 6 gallon nano cube! Whoo-hooo.
My home tank is doing well...tons of pods - totally freaked me out when I peaked in there last night. Gwendolyn (cherub angel) has started picking on McGyver (teeny cardinal fish) every now and then but he seems to be handling it okay.
I recently added two pieces of SPS...a digitata and a monti cap. Digi is growing like crazy.
