jungle val trimming question

when do i separatea jungle val runner from the original plant? mines got a good growing plant on it(about 2 inches high) and a nother runner growing out of it is safe to separate them?

I generally wait until I can see about a 3" root system off the new plant. Once that is there, I trim and replant.

i c thank u! and is it ok to cut the runner if there is another plantlet growing out of it?

So you mean to ask if it's okay to cut the 1st baby from the mother if the 1st baby already has another baby growing from it? Yep, it's okay, just make sure the largest plant has at least 5-6 inches of height.
