hello everyone , im new to the fish scene , i have a 10 gallon tank(i know its small) its cycled , i have 3 tiger barbs and 1 albino cory, i would like to have 1 more fish to put in , is there any 1 fish that could survive on its own without having any other of the same species. thanks for any help

Really, the fish you have aren't suited to a tank that small, and should be returned. If you got any more fish, I'd say at least 2 more cories.

A couple more cories and consider returning the barbs for something else (research first).

I'd trade out the barbs for either some tetras or some guppies. don't forget tetras need decent sized groups to school and be happy.

I would get 2 more tiger barbs and/or 2-3 more albino cories. Tiger barbs need to be in at least a school of 5 so they don't go nuts with the fin-nipping and the cories don't like to be alone. But if you want, you could put the smallest of platy species in there: sunset dwarf coral platy. I have so many now lol.

More Tiger barbs are a bad idea. Tiger barbs need more room to swim and preferably groups of 8+.
