I wonder if she handled it regularly you may be on to something? They really need human interaction on a regular basis.

ya. she handled it regularely. when i first started going over there the snake would crawl up onto you as soon as you sat on the couch. i'm not sure why it turned but i know it happened one day when she was taking a rat out of the freezer for it. it attacked her and now it just doesn't like her for some reason. her bf still handles it regularely and i have as well. maybe it thought she was tasty.
One thing we must all remember is these types of pets are still wild animals. Through human interaction we can only hope to calm them but they are still wild by nature. Maybe he sees her as competition for food???
i dont know but it doesn't mean yours will be like that too...just a precautionary tale. i've seen other people with larger snakes that had never become agressive so i know it's not always going to turn out that way. it's a nice looking snake anyways and it will be a lot of years before it gets big. right now it's just a sweet lil baby that needs to be loved just like any other baby..
