Pretty much any medium barbs, tetras, danios would work. They shouldn't bother the hatchets as the jurupari stick to the bottom. A school of giant danios and a school of black ruby barbs would fill out the middle and top.

so maybe a pair or two of keyholes and a school of hatchets at the top that way i have my cichlids and hubby has his hatchets
