Just got my Salvini pair from Jeff Rapps!

Sorry about the bad quality. I'm still learning about fish photography here.

may I sugest a nice back ground to bring out the fish ? blinds in the back ground are not good looking LOL! awsome fish you got !!
 
ha! Yes and that would probably help a lot with the algae!
 
Nice fish...I just found out a LFS in Nashville gets their cichlids from Jeff.... And they have a pair now so as soon as I figure what to do with the community fish I have in my 55g it will soon be home to a pair of Salvini :)
 
On Jeff's website he lists all of the LFS's that get fish from him. In my mind anything he has bred is of the upmost quality.

My plan is to get a 20 long and move everything but the bleeding hearts over...I will probably trade them in at the lfs...but if I find a good deal on a 29g I could do that too

Thats how I found out the one in Nashville (Aquatic Critters) stocks Jeff's cichlids... I go in there pretty often or every chance I get up that way (about 50 miles away).... Super clean place with alot of fish
